Fresh Starts Registry, which Forbes has recognized as the "first divorce registry of its kind" and by New York Magazine as the leader in "destigmatizing divorce," was launched by two sisters after going through back-to-back substantial life changes, Olivia Dreizen Howell, co-founder and CEO, ending an 8-year marriage and Jenny Dreizen, co-founder and COO, ending a 10-year relationship, breaking off an engagement.
Fresh Starts Registry came to fruition when Olivia and Jenny were cleaning out Olivia's house after her divorce to eliminate all of those emotional items that reminded Olivia of her former husband, and that's when Olivia had an "aha moment."
She realized that we celebrate weddings and babies with a registry, but in the moments we really need to restock our life, like divorce, job loss, or any brave decision and major life change, we need support, both in the form of support items for your home, and the experts who become our hype team. She found herself journaling about it that night, and Fresh Starts Registry was born with the goal of being the first divorce registry and only support registry providing support in two ways that are entirely free to a user of their platform, aka a "Freshie:" The Fresh Starts Registry and The Fresh Starts Expert Guide.
